Dr. Shari Camhi will be the guest speaker at the Coalition for Glen Cove open meeting on Monday, December 8th at 7:30 PM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 28 Highland Road in Glen Cove.

Dr. Camhi is the assistant superintendent for curriculum, instruction, technology, and grants for the Glen Cove Schools. She joined the Glen Cove School District in July 2005 after having served as assistant superintendent in the Mineola School District and as director of technology in the Bellmore-Merrick School District. She has been a national consultant for curriculum and instruction and has worked in computer technology in the private sector and at the college level overseas. Her philosophy is to work with parents, students, teachers and administrators to develop schools that meet the needs of all learners. Dr. Camhi will speak about the educational initiatives that have taken place over the past several years and have contributed to the resurgence of the Glen Cove School District.
